The following are formatting guidelines to help the Otter Pocket posts stay consistent and easy to use. Please follow these guidelines! If you have a question about proper posting ask your RT.
How to Format a Post:
Please format each post in the following manner so all posts are consistent and easy to use.
Name of Task
Taken From: the source of this task - name of book and author - or 'unknown'
Category: the general purpose behind the activity (for example active initiative, art group, low ropes course etc.)
Materials Needed: include any materials needed for the task.
Instructions: explain the task and give detailed directions
Variations: (optional) if there are any known variations of the game, include them here.
Other Known Names: all different known names for the task.
Labeling a Post:
Label each post appropriately so people can search by category and find all the related tasks. To label, go to the edit post page. To the right side under Post Settings is the Labels section; select from the list of existing labels below.
As always, please read through your work before posting it - check for spelling, grammar, etc. Make sure it is easy to understand and detailed. Thanks for contributing!
